About Cat Friendly Stays
Cat Friendly Stays was created after we spent far too long searching for places to stay, only to discover that “pet-friendly” often really meant dogs only.
After getting a little fed up with having to dig through pet policies just to find out whether a cat was actually welcome, we decided to do something about it. Cat Friendly Stays was created to bring together accommodation where cats are genuinely welcome, from cottages and lodges to hotels, holiday homes and other places to stay.
We know cats can make brilliant travel companions too. Our cat Charlie is a great traveller who loves coming along and exploring with us, and he’s a big part of the inspiration behind Cat Friendly Stays.
Finding the right accommodation with a cat can still take a little more research, so we aim to make it simpler by highlighting useful details such as how many cats are welcome, property type, outdoor space, parking and other features that can help you choose the right stay.
How Cat Friendly Stays works
We research accommodation where cats are accepted and provide useful information to help you compare your options. When you’re ready to check availability or book, we’ll direct you to the relevant accommodation provider or one of our trusted booking partners.
