Location

The pod sits in peaceful rural countryside in Moray, around three miles from Keith. It is on the eastern edge of Speyside, close to the Malt Whisky Trail. Keith itself has independent shops, cafés and pubs along Mid Street. It is also home to Strathisla Distillery, founded in 1786 and open to visitors. A pub and restaurant are about three miles away.

The Keith and Dufftown Railway is a heritage line running 11 miles through Speyside to Dufftown. It operates on selected days, mainly summer weekends. Walkers can follow the Isla Way between Keith and Dufftown, or join the Speyside Way, which runs from Aviemore through Moray to Buckie. Local activities include fishing, golf, mountain biking, scenic walks and historical sites.

The Moray coast is about 14½ miles away, and the Moray Coast Trail links Findhorn with Cullen along the shoreline. Keith sits roughly midway between Inverness and Aberdeen, so both are reachable for a day out.
