The Barn, Braiseworth, Suffolk
Overview
The Barn is a countryside retreat in Braiseworth, near the market town of Eye. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps seven in beds, or up to nine using a double sofa bed for an additional charge. A private eight-person hot tub, large garden and games room make it an appealing choice for families and friends.
The Property
The bedrooms comprise a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a double room with an additional single bed, and a twin room. A separate wet room provides the second bathroom.
There is living and dining space for spending time together, alongside a kitchen with a microwave and washing machine. A smart TV and Wi-Fi are available, while pool, table football, table tennis, books and board games provide plenty of entertainment.
Outside, the enclosed garden includes a lawn, outdoor dining furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Guests also have access to a summer house. The hot tub is exclusively for the accommodation, with towels supplied.
On-site driveway parking is available directly in front of the barn. An electric vehicle charger is available for an additional cash fee.
For the Cat
Cats are welcome, with up to two pets permitted in total. Each pet must weigh less than 25 kg.
Accessibility
The accommodation is single storey, with step-free access to the entrance, bedrooms and living spaces. The entrance and selected internal doorways are wider than 81 cm. Both bathrooms have step-free showers, fixed toilet grab bars and a shower or bath chair.
Location
Working farms and orchards surround Braiseworth, with walks and runs starting from the door. Eye is a few minutes away for independent shops, cafés and everyday supplies.
Eye Castle offers views across the town and surrounding countryside. For a longer walk, the four-mile Eye Circular explores the local landscape.
The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway at Brockford offers heritage railway experiences and steam rides on operating days. Framlingham, the Waveney Valley and the coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold offer further options for days out.
